Street Racket: Sport for development
Street Racket was invited, along with 22 other organisations, to participate in the first Swiss meeting for players who work in the sport for development and peace sector. Lead by the Swiss Academy for Development and Right to Play, important steps were taken to support each other in this crucial sector of sport. International guidelines such as the International Charter for Physical Education by the United Nations or the White Paper on Sport by the European Commission highlight the immense potential and impact sport can have on many levels in society all around the world.
Actions were taken to raise awareness and expand the current activities. Street Racket is proud to represent this group and is motivated to increase the positive effects of our programmes in this sector.
